Since august 2015 and version 2.11 of Photo-Folders, pictures shown in a thumbnails widget in a blog post can be displayed with a “lightbox” feature when clicking in the thumbnails. It even works on touch based devices, allowing single and multitouch to zoom in the displayed pictures.
The lightbox feature is an option available when using the widget generator. When not activated, a click on the picture directs the user to the Photo-Folders plugin user interface to view the picture. When activated, it opens the picture full screen within the current post. If access to the plugin is not forbidden by the plugin owner, a button is available in the lightbox to open the picture in the plugin.
Just click on the thumbnails below to experience the new lightbox. Click on the right or left of the picture to move the next or previous image, use ESCAPE key to come back to the post, HOME and END to move to first and last picture of the set.
